About Me: Artistic Profile Real Name; Makhozi Poulo Foko Music Born June 6th, 1986 in Maseru, Lesotho, Makhozi Poulo Foko a.k.a Cozy Boy is an MC who rhymes in English and Vernacular, and proudly represents "Kasi" (township) existence. He moved to Alexandra, Joburg to study at East Bank High School. There Cozy Boy's dreams of becoming an entertainer and musician began to be realized. He also joined the fashion and theater production industries, and has been in numerous sessions and ramp with other South African MC's and models back in Alexandra during his days as a scholar. Through modeling and drama he was able to get closer to his dream of being a musician as it allowed him to get a feel of the atmosphere on stage and to work with established arts & cultural designers. In 2007 he went through to top 10 in more than 100 models at the Mr. & Miss Crime Prevention Soweto. Later in 2010 Cozy Boy went for the face of Tripharm at the Pioneer Mall in Maseru where he also went to qualify to top 10. He is now recognized with the first Sotho Hop hit single Stronger in 2011. He composes and produces for himself in his bedroom and the front men of his crew include his cousin G. Man, Palesa and Mmamphoto. Back in Lesotho; He has been into so many battles including a much-publicized battle with a number of popular Sotho Hop MC’s at the annual Lesotho Haeso Music Awards. Cozy Boy’s first track (recorded at Down Town Studios) with the Alexandra based Stozee in 2008 never made any impression as he had to travel back to the Mountain Kingdom for Studies. His claim for recognition came in 2008 when he qualified for the national level topping Maseru in the Lesotho Haeso Music Awards to compete against other remaining nine districts. In an effort to keep his flame burning a personal site dedicated to Cozy Boy has been set up on Facebook for all to come to befriend, network and contribute to how their lives will be affected by his music.
